About this policy

Sunnify is a solar feasibility and savings assessment service for Singapore landed homeowners, operated as a sole proprietorship. This policy explains how Sunnify collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use sunnify.sg or ask Sunnify to assess and support a solar project.

The solar calculator

The calculator takes a Singapore address or postal code and returns an estimated annual savings figure. Processing happens in your browser through the Google Maps and Google Solar APIs. Sunnify does not store your address or your result. You see a full estimate without creating an account or providing any personal details.

Site survey bookings

If you book a free site survey, the booking form asks for your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and property address. Google Calendar captures this information and sends a confirmation to hello@sunnify.sg. If your enquiry becomes an active assessment or project, the relevant details may also be recorded in Sunnify's access-controlled business systems so the requested work can be prepared and managed.

Referral programme

If you sign up at sunnify.sg/refer, we collect your name, a contact method (phone or email), and your payout details (PayNow number or bank account information) so we can pay your reward if your referral results in a completed installation. Payout details are stored only for this purpose and are not used for marketing. If someone uses your referral link, we record that the link was opened; we do not collect the referred person's personal details through this system — they reach us the same way as any other visitor, typically via WhatsApp.

How we use project data

We use project data only to respond to your enquiry, assess your property, arrange a site visit, design or revise a roof layout, prepare quotations and proposals, manage project follow-up, deliver requested documents, and maintain necessary business records. We do not add you to a marketing list without separate agreement and do not sell your personal data.

Google Drive access and Google user data

Sunnify uses Google OAuth with the limited Google Drive drive.file permission for internal document storage. This permits Sunnify's authorised application to create, store, retrieve, and manage only files it created or files the account owner explicitly selected for use with it. It does not provide access to unrelated files in the Google account. Google user data is used only for authorised file-storage and document workflows. It is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models.

Limited use of Google user data

Sunnify's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is shared only with service providers acting on Sunnify's behalf where necessary to operate the requested file and document workflow, or where disclosure is required by law.

Revoking Google access

The Google account owner can revoke Sunnify's application access at any time from the security settings of the relevant Google Account, or request removal by emailing hello@sunnify.sg. Revocation stops future Google Drive operations but does not automatically delete records or files that must still be retained for an active project or a legal or business purpose.

Read-only roof-layout links

Sunnify may provide an expiring, revocable link that displays a sanitised roof layout without exposing the private sales workspace. Anyone who possesses a valid link may be able to view that layout until the link expires or is revoked, so recipients should not forward it. The public view is designed not to include customer contact details or private project records.

Third-party services

Sunnify uses carefully selected service providers in the following categories:

• Website hosting, analytics, security, and content-delivery providers.
• Mapping, satellite roof-data, and appointment-scheduling providers.
• Secure cloud storage, database, and document-processing providers used for project work.
• Optional messaging providers used only when Sunnify chooses that delivery method.

Data processed outside Singapore

Some service providers operate infrastructure outside Singapore, so relevant data may pass through or be stored in other countries. Sunnify selects established providers and uses contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the data and service involved.

Our installer partner

Sunnify works with BCA ME03 certified solar installers in Singapore. We do not share your name, contact details, or property address with any installer unless you agree, after the site survey, to proceed with an installation. At that point, the installer receives only what is needed to design and scope the system for your property.

How long we keep your data

We ordinarily keep standalone booking emails for up to three years. Active project records and files are kept for as long as needed to provide the requested assessment or project service and for legitimate legal or business record-keeping. We then delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer required. You may request earlier deletion, subject to any continuing legal, contractual, security, or business need to retain a record.

Your rights under PDPA

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012, you have the following rights:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data Sunnify holds about you.
• Correction: request that we update any inaccurate personal data.
• Withdrawal of consent: withdraw your consent to Sunnify using your personal data for any stated purpose.

How to exercise your rights

Email hello@sunnify.sg with your request. Include enough detail for us to locate your record, such as the name and email address used at booking. We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable and explain if an exception or continuing retention requirement applies. Withdrawing consent may prevent Sunnify from continuing a requested assessment, document workflow, or project service.

Minimum age

Sunnify is for adults aged 18 and above. Property ownership and solar installations carry financial and legal responsibilities that require legal capacity. If you are under 18, do not submit a booking form or share personal details on this website.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the date below the page heading. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy. Changes that materially affect how we handle personal data will be noted in the introduction of the page.
